I belong wherever I go
Be the author of your own narrative, because it is a story worth writing. Our mission is to offer the support, resources, and space for you to write it on your own terms.

Everyone’s story matters. It’s important all youth feel empowered to and have the resources to author their own.
WHY WE EXIST
Foster youth experience incredible instability, which can make some feel a lack of control over their own stories. Constant displacements and shifting living and financial circumstances can make it difficult to keep up with activities and interests, as well as retain memorabilia.
Our mission is to ensure all children have resources and support to make and keep memories.
Life Passport
Youth-led binders that you can build and retain throughout your time and placements in foster care. It can contain photos, journal entries, ribbons, and any other memorabilia that you want to capture.
Continuity Fund
This fund will provide urgent resources for youth experiencing sudden transitions, making it difficult to continue routines (e.g. extracurriculars, therapist relationships, cultural traditions).
Advocacy
While we hope our resources help foster youth, we understand that they do not fix the system and its shortcomings. In order to spur foundational change, we will also devote ourselves to advocating for stability-focused policies and grassroots organization.
“I do not have a single photograph of my youth before I was 16. Even one picture would had made me feel like my youth mattered — that I matter.”
Minseo Kim, Founder of Wherever I Go
HOW IT WORKS
Three ways we show up for our foster youth.
1
You get a Life Passport — yours to keep.
We provide physical binders designed to hold the things that make you you— photos, mementos, milestones, reflections. It travels with you through every placement, and you decide who gets to see what's inside.
2
When the cost of family transitions threaten to strip you of your youth — we step in.
Foster youth and advocates can submit a request to the Continuity Fund for financial support — whether that's covering school picture fees, funding the continuation of an extracurricular activity that a new placement can't afford, or ensuring a child can keep seeing the therapist they've learned to trust.
3
We use our collective voice to push for lasting change.
With your permission, we take the patterns we see — the gaps, the losses, the things that keep falling through the cracks — and turn them into advocacy. Policies. Systemic change. A louder voice for every foster youth who deserves better.
There’s a place for you here.
Whether you’re a foster youth, a caregiver, an advocate, a donor, or someone who believes in our mission and wants to get involved— we’d love to have you.
